If you had to be a kitchen utensil what would you be?
hmm, extremely interesting. i'd have to say a spatula, only because in 6th or 7th grade we were at camp rick.abear on one of our camping trips and we were talking about this kinda stuff, and i was like i like the word spatula. and then we were obsessed with saying it, and i just like them because they help me make grilled cheese, which is my favorite sanwich. :)
What birthday has been the best?
umm, this is tough because i am either reall sick on my birthday or would have field hockey games or practice...but i think my 15th birthday was really good because i was a freshman in high school and it was just a really really fun day...had school, boo, but then i had field hockey, which was always a fun time my freshman year, and i don't think anything super birthday exciting happened, but i've had some pretty awful birthdays//i got to hang out with m friends, so it was a good one, and one that seems to stand out in my mind...
What is your favorite piece of artwork?
hmm... i would have to say either the painting my aunt has in her dining room [i have NO clue what it is, or who did it] but it is just absolutely gorgeous. every time i go to her house i just go in that room and look at it...it is of a canal in venice, and the colors are just amazing, and since i've been there, it just makes me ridiculously happy. haha, i know lame...nothing too exciting...but i just absolutely love it.
Where has been the best class you took in college, why?
this one is easy...handsdown it is the american studies class i took in wales. first of all, i was the only american in the class, so it was pretty interesting because he would constantly ask me questions, and second because it was so amazing to be able to sit there and hear about american culture//history from another persepective aside from our own countries..things were different but it was small details. and they were all very interested about thanksgiving, because all they know of it is from tv shows, like friends. we would often watch movies so we could "see" the way things were. but my favorite clip was watching friends when he was desribing thanksgiving...everyone was like, is that really what it was like....haha. and then during our seminars there was me, a boy from scottland, a girl and 2 boys from different parts of england, two from ireland and then a few people from wales so it was really diverse and we got to talk about different aspects of everything from the different countries...i love love loveddd going to that class. in fact it was the only class i didnt miss while i was there.
What has been the most beautiful place you've been to and why?
i have a few. the first being santorini. the second being sedona and the third being the early early morning on the delaware river, right as the sun is coming up and there is a fog on the river
and a blue sky...ok the first is
because, well it was just breathtaking. the towns are up on these cliffs over looking the caldera and the colors are just so amazing..the little houses and everything are all white and blue roofs and just sooo adorable. and then there are the donkeys you see, and the flowers, and the colors of the sky and the water. and the sunsets there...i could go on. it just felt magical being there, which it really was because i never thought i would be the one to go to greece, but then being there and seeing it...i dont know. it was just beautiful...and i am well aware that these pictures don't do any justice for what it actually looks like, but it was just amazing...and i loved every second of being there. ok, sedona--i fell in love with it the first time i went there..it just amazes me how the rocks are able to be like that, and it is beautiful, and i can't describe it...and it is just a super cute place, and when you are going down from flag.staff you are driving down the moutain and then you are on this tiny road and then you hit these amazing red rocks and it is just stunning with the river at slide rock, and everything...ahh i love it. [i dont have any pictures because my computer crashed boooo] and finally, my last one...so the del.aware riv.er might not be the cleanest...and it might not be amazing, but there is just something about it when you either wake up, or you can't sleep and you go down to the river, and there is no man made anything around and there is just silence aside from the river and the sun is making everything golden and there is a blue sky, and there is fog just rolling down the river with the current, and it slightly sparkles in the sun......it is to me the most beautiful thing i think i have ever seen..it is so calm, and so relaxing...just beautiful...
