snakes.

so when i first went to ryan's house in summer of '06 his mom's first question to me was how do you feel about snakes? --well i hate them. they just freak me out how they have no legs and arms. or fins or wings..aand can still move. (i don't even go into the snake exhibits at museams when they are dead. or in aquariums when they are still alive. or zoos. none of it. i can't stand them] i am still extremely frightened by the one that tried to slither into out house to the basement via the really old foundation rocks..i mean, this was still when erin was at home...it was terrifying... and i am scared of them from camping and ughh when i went on OO and we saw the longest black snake i've ever seen with a group of 10 year olds. [jeez that whole day was horrible...] well she said it was fine and i wouldn't be sleeping in nick's room [his brother.] so when i found out nick moved out, i was thrilled as to no snakes living in his house.. come to my surprise when i find out that no, they do still live there. and yup, they are sleeping in ryan's room toooo! yuck gross ew.! now, i think iyt would have been one thing if it was just one medum sized snake. but no, there was one boaconstrictor which was about the width of normal sized coffee cup. and REALLY long. and then there was a medium sized snake, i believe the same kind...he was very pretty though, so i didn't mind him...as much. and then ugh, this one makes me get goosebumps thinking about it..a very skinny, about the size of your pinky thick...long red black and cream [i think] snake. ughhh i literally makes me wanna throw up thinking about it. well, of course ryan took the littlest one out and would bring it really close to me.
why am i telling you all of this?? well when i was there i was literally terrifyied to walk in that part of the room. in fact i wouldn't have ever walked over there, except they were across the room from the door. [for those of you who don't know...ryan's room is in the basement and it is in the shape of an 'L' ] and there is only one way out..so one time i was getting ready to go out and i saw the little and medium sized one trying to get out//climbing the sides to their glass cage thingy and was like ew ew ew and ryan said that it only happened one time and was being a jerk about it so clearly that night being as afraid of snakes as i am, i had a bad dream where they were out and in bed with us and then i was freaking out and it started wrapping around my legs and then there was a rattle snake..you know the whole deal.
well, why am i up at 6 am? well, i had a dream where for some reason ryan decided to buy me a whole aquarium of snakes. COOL and they kept getting out, and i couldn't find them and they were always in my bed. ew. so it kept going on and we finally got them all in the tank again and then i realized the 3 of nick's were not there. anyways, it went on to me waking up and everytime i went to sleep i would have the same dream. and now i can't sleep. how random?! i wasn't even thinking about the stupid snakes. i wasn't even thinking about ryan when i fell asleep!! i was watching sex and the city episodes.!!! ugh. so here i am. 6:30am. can't sleep since about 4.... freakin snakes. i hate them.
