sleep. cell phone. dunzo.

i can't sleep.! it is now 7:29am, and i have been awake just tossing and turning in bed since 5:21 this morning =[ i hate not being able to sleep, especially because i know i won't be able to sleep tonight either.! i have to actually get up in a half hour too...which makes it even worse.! =/

this is the last time i will be writing from europe.! i just really can't believe it is over. it seems like it went so so fast and so so slow all at the same time. but it is going to be so weird being back in america. i am SOO excited to have my cell phone back, i've gone through withdrawls--if you know me, you know i am like attached to that thing-and i HATE the phone i have here...plus, not many people to text or call. haha..

yesterday i went to the beach for about 2 hours-i am SO burnt.!! ridiculous i might add, how i can manage to get super sunburnt in the uk haha. my stomach is super burnt--it is pretty white though. haha, so i am sure that wasn't hard to accomplish. but my face actually looks healthy compared to my sickly white look i had going on last week.

so, on mel's last night, we all sat around talking about our favorite memories, what has changed about us, what we can't wait to do/have in america, and what we will miss about here and this is what i have come up with::
favorite welsh memory:
1-carnage
2-random dinner nights/hanging around mel's flat
3-the random trips to the beach
4-the varsity match in cardiff.

favorite memory all together::
1-the first day in london because we were all like completely clueless.
2-the last night of italy in venice <3
3-nana--handsdown one of the coolest woman i've ever met.
4-paris with ryan

how i've changed::
1-i am more comfortable being about alone
2-i learned no matter where i go and how stupid you act, you can always find people who love you.
3-i am not so reliant on talking to ryan or my mom to get me through tough things, and with ryan i know we can go for longer periods of time without talking and i don't feel like everything is falling apart.
4-just small things about me have changed that i can't describe, because being away for 5 months in a completely different country changes how you are, and the way you look at things.

what i can't wait for in america::
1-to hug my family.
2-orange gateraid!!!!!!!!!
3-my cell phone
4-everything not being double what i am paying for!
5-pancakes and pizza and honey mustard and chicken fingers and bagels.
6-to snuggle with my lions <3

what i will miss::
1-being able to drink legally. hahaha.
2-living so close to the beach.
3-the crazy nights out in town
4-the people i met here, and being able to go to student village and hang out with some beers or wine and just talk about the most random things and play dominos. <3
5-pubs-i absolutely love them! haha.

i am sure certain things you don't realize you would miss, like certain foods, certain people, random things--but being away makes you understand how important little things are, how important people are, and it teaches you to love things that you have when you have them...the last month me and the friends just kinda were realizing that our time was up, and i feel like we really made the best of everything we had, which made the last month, aside from exams, amazing. just this whole thing in general was beyond anything i could have imagined. honestly, there are no words to describe what we went through here, the weird friendships we made, and the ridiculousness we went through. as much as i really missed home when i was here, i know i am going to miss here when i go home.

i am so so lucky to have gotten to do this, and i know that i have made amazing friends, and had an experience that will change my life forever.

so-peace out from europe...! [lets home there are no troubles getting home too]
until i am back in the states....!!!!
