it's overrr.

i can not believe it is OVER. ahh. CRAZY to think about how i've lived in Europe for 5 months and 2 days. haha. it feels like i've been here for EVER. but it also seems like the last 5 months flew by! i seriously couldn't have asked for a better ending though then the last week....

so, i went hiking on the Gow.er and Worm's Head. it was me, mel, cliff, lukas, and matt. [lukas and matt were in the Lon.don program with me..] we left at like, 9 to get there before the tides went up so we could hike out to the top of Worm's Head. --the tides are RIDICULOUS here, and literally go up and down by over 20 feet. so you have to plan time to get out there and back before you get stuck and have to wait about 6 hours to cross again. haha.--so we left and it was sunny but we got there and there was just fog EVERYWHERE. there is a cliff, and at the bottom is the ocean, and i was like--i hear water, but i definitely can not see any! and i was upset cause i've seen pictures that are just beautiful! you couldn't see anything, and we were walking out to the end, about a mile before you actually start, and literally could not see about 20 feet ahead of you.! it was crazy! so we talked to the watch person, and he told us how long we had and everything, and we were off! now, we were basically walking on these jagged rocks...which were hard to walk on especially cause it was all wet, cause they are covered by the tides. so we finally got to Worm's head, which is the higher part of the island that doesn't get covered by the tides, well--the ranger told us we might be able to see seals, so me and melaney --like typical girls--were like AHH SEALS WE NEED TO SEE ONE.!! so we were like over halfway there, and we saw one!! and then when we got to the other side we saw about 10 more! which was SUPER exciting.!! haha. and then hiking back, the sun came out, and the fog lifted and it was gorgeous out! =] we met up with lukas's friends rich and kate, and got some lunch and i could finally see the beach, and it was super pretty =] and went back to swansea...overall monday was a super fun day! and i wasn't even sore the next day! haha

tuesday, i studied all day. seriously it didn't even matter though cause my exam was so shitty =/

wednesday-i woke up at 8 and was at my exam by 9:30 and was tehre until about 11, showered and waited for mel and reagan to come over, and then we were off to mum.bles! [it was our last day all together =[ cause mel left for leeds/southern france the next day..] so we went to oystermouth castle in Mum.bles, which was fun. there was a group of school kids there and they were adorable in their outfits and i just love their accents! haha. but we were just being goofy and walked about the castle. it's well small compared to other ones, but it was pretty. we took LOADS of pictures, and the view from the top is just amazing, cause you get a view of Swan.sea and one of Mum.bles. then we went to the whiterose for our last dinner together. i love that pub! and then we went into town to get food for the night/morning, and headed back to student village. we just hung out, played dominos, drank some champagne to celebrate our last night together, had some delicious chips and salsa, and talked about everything. we didnt sleep until like, 2 though.

[thursday] then we had to get up at 9 and we cooked eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, french toast and had watermelon =] it was SO good. we got ready and headed into town to get melaney on her train..we sat in the station for about 15 minutes before she had to get on the train =[ it was sad cause we dont know when we will see each other again.. but me and reagan hung out around town, and then we decided to go to Car.diff for the afternoon, its about an hour busride, and 5 pounds, so not too bad. it was super fun although the ride there took FOREVER it felt like! i had never really walked about Car.diff except the rugby game, so we just walked about, went to the Car.diff Castle and into the museum, went to a bookstore, it is such a super cute town. and then we went to subway for dinner to eat on the bus back, and we went to pay with our card, but they didnt take cards and there was no sign ANYWHERE. so we were like, oh god. haha. and we literally paid in like 2 pence pieces. and had like, 3p left..and we were laughing the whole time, and we get out and reagan pulls out a tener and we like died on the street laughing. of course we found it AFTER everyone looked at us like idiots. haha. we had a good chat on the bus ride home. and then we said goodbye cause she was leaving on friday =[

friday--i did absolutely nothing! so horrible, i know! but i was so tired, and bored, and i read a little, but mainly just watched movies. haha. such a lazy bum! and i was asleep by 8:30. =S how horrible. haha.. but i did wake up at 7:30 so i was tired.


and today- well, i woke up at about 6:30 am and then laid in bed until 7:45 when the freakin fire alarm went off, and every tuesday it goes off for about 15 seconds as a practice--well i was like is it tuesday already? NOPE, after about a minute of it going off everyone got out of bed and went outside for about 15 minutes. UGH. then i came back in and watched the notebook and went to bed for another hour or so..and then i got up, cleaned the room a bit, and headed off to the beach =] it was a gorgeous day out! i laid in the sun, and read a bit, and then clouds of death came along! haha. and it was thundering so i left, and got back to my room just as it started to pour! and i just got off the phone with my momma. i can not wait to see her!!!! it is going to be awesome! tuesday is going to be so great!! but she made me super happy cause she found her phone she thought she lost, which means i will have a phone that stays charged!! yay! haha. and she gave me my randolph macon email and i had to take a placement test for spanish, which i just took, and did alright on. but the rest of today is::trying to finally get a vaccuum, maybe a bit of packing and bed. and then tomorrow is FINISH packing, and maybe a walk on the beach. and monday at 9:30 i am leaving Swan.sea and heading towards lond.on and bumble.! =] and i am meeting up with 3 internationals and hanging out there, and then staying over bumble's until i fly home on TUESDAY! then getting to see my fam fam =] =] and having dinner, seeing grammie and pa, and then probably roo tim dave and bry, and then meggie =]


i just can't believe it is all over...seems crazy, but it was such a great experience! and i seriously had the best last week i could have asked for!! =]
