day 2.

ok, so this is the email i wrote to my mom...dont feel like typing it all again.
just ganna say-i am having troubles sleeping, but i really need sleep. cause i am starting to get sick again : [

the first day was good. had orientation and learned about like everything, class, our trips, and some british culture stuff. mainly like who is in the UK, and about n.ireland, scotland england and wales. we live in a REALLY rich part of london. the most sought after place to live in the city is the royal borough of chelsea and kensington, which is where we are. nothing like i thought it would be like. well, havent been eating much-mainly sandwiches. everything is SUPER expensive here. bought some noodles, soup, and bread. granola/cereal and jelly. but nothing too exciting. just is it ridiculously expensive. i bought a hair dryer and straightener for a total of about $25 so that was a bargain.

today was our super busy day. we had a tour of parliament, which was amazing. and when we got out of the tube and were walking up the stairs, all you can see is the parliament building. and we were all just blown away, is absolutely gorgeous, you need to come to London. seriously, i am blown away by how absolutely gorgeous it is. [we got these cards, it came in the fee, called oyster cards, and ours is free tube/bus rides over the city, which is AMAZING because we travel on the tube all the time] and then we went and walked around a bit, and had lunch and then went back and we went on a 2.5 hour bus tour of the city. and saw/learned about EVERYTHING. when i say everything i mean, like everything. it was amazing! i am loving London. is not scary like new york is. but still has a lot going on, and we seem to be getting around really well, which is very exciting. and then after that we walked around picadilly circle and i bought some post cards i might be mailing out soon-aside from essentials it was the first thing i bought.! and then we came back ate dinner, has some noodles, and we went to see STOMP. which is like a Broadway play, but not. it is like people get to stomp around and make music out of it. it was AWESOME. i've always always wanted to see it. and i finally did and it was just so good. but i am really tired, haven't been sleeping well at all. it kinda sucks a bit, not going to lie.

i think Hannah and Rachel are coming sometime to visit and go to lunch or something, and my friend yorkie-Erin knows her, wants to try and get together, so that will be nice. oh-was talking to Erin and she says we are going to Greece over spring break, which would be great! i really wanna see england and more of europe then too. some of the girls are going to backpack, but i wanna go to ireland paris barcelona and amsterdam when i am here, so we will see...

cant sleep. and going to die...
