so i got a job, in Alabama. yup, in good old Alabama. in the Alabama that is 830 miles and 13.5 hours from my house. I need to be there by Feb 22.
crazy considering i only knew about this job a week and a day ago. i am going to be working at an outdoor education camp as a "teacher" so basically when schools go on class trips to camps [mainly 4-7th graders] i am going to be the one taking them on hikes and teaching them about the outdoors and leadership and everything.
CRAZY.
but i am SO incredibly ready for this new adventure to begin. and even more nervous for it to begin.
i am ready to call my home Alabama for a little bit :)

this is exciting! i hope you have a lot of fun! I would recommend getting the "Audubon Field Guide to the Southeastern States." It's a great book to take along when you're on hikes and you see something and you want to know what it is without carrying 10 field guides around. It's got a little bit of everything.
